Brittany and Cort Murdoch's Wedding At The Barn At Greers Ferry Lake in Bee Branch, Arkansas
Brittany and Cort, together with their family and friends held their long awaited marriage ceremony outside overlooking Greers Ferry Lake, at The Barn At Greers Ferry Lake. A reception immediately followed in the reception area of The Barn At Greers Ferry Lake, which included wonderful food catered by the venue, cake by Patti Cakes , dancing entertained by the DJ through the venue, and a Photo Booth entertainment hosted by Natural State Selfie Pad.
Britt looked absolutely stunning in her white satin empire/ballgown style wedding dress The front of the dress had a "V" neck line, with satin off the shoulder straps, and the back of the dress had buttons that went from top to bottom of the dress. Britt finished off the look with a floor length veil that had pearl and sequin accents (my favorite veil to date.). Cort, the groom, wore a light grey suit with a grey vest and white button up, accented by a mixture of a sage green/mint green tie and pocket square and a boutonniere made of ranunculus and greenery, and he finished off the look with brown dress shoes.
The theme was simple with white, sage, and greenery as their colors and accents. Their wedding look was completed by having a mixture of white florals and greenery. The look was completed with the accents of sage from the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen's sage ties and pocket squares.
The reception was such a sweet time for the couple and their family and friends. Cort and Britt were able to come in, sit down and eat a full meal and enjoy drinks from the bar. Along with the couple being able to go around and mix and mingle with all of their guests. Meanwhile the guests were fully entertained with the Photo Booth brought by Natural State Selfie Pad, and music being provided by the DJ, curiosity of the Venue DJ. The Murdoch's finished off the night by dancing the night away and truly just living in the moment of their wedding day.
My favorite memory of the day was seeing how Cort and Britt included Cort's late friend Andrew. From the beginning of the planning process Cort and Britt had emphasized to me the importance of still including and remembering their late friend Andrew throughout their wedding day, but what they come up with was just precious beyond words. You may notice in pictures (they also stood this way during the ceremony) on the groomsmen side that there is a space between the last groomsmen and the groomsmen in front of him, that empty space was reserved in honor and memory of Andrew. Also the couple had a boutonniere made for Andrew, and it was placed in front of his picture at the Memorial Table. Britt and Cort, truely honored Andrew well even on their special day.
